Our suppliers are selected on the basis of the guarantees they offer under Article 28 GDPR. No system is completely immune to attack; if a breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to you, we will inform you and the supervisory authority as required by Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.

8. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you have the right to:

  • obtain confirmation of whether we hold data about you, and receive a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
  • have your data erased, where one of the grounds in Article 17 applies;
  • ask us to restrict the processing while a request of yours is being examined;
  • receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, and have it sent to another controller;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • withdraw a consent you have given, at any time, without affecting what was done before the withdrawal.

Write to info@viamercader.com. We answer within one month; if the request is complex we may extend that period by two further months and we will tell you why. There is no charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma (garanteprivacy.it). You may also complain to the authority of the country where you live or work.

9. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not take decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not build behavioural profiles of our customers. Advertising platforms may use their own cookies to decide which advertisement to show you; that processing is described in the Cookie Policy and is subject to your consent.

This website is not directed at children, and our products are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to info@viamercader.com and we will delete it.
